Aloft Scottsdale
The Aloft Scottsdale is a hip new hotel in the center of Scottsdale’s Entertainment District with many nightclubs/bars and outdoor patio restaurants to choose from. It is an awesome looking boutique hotel. It owned owned by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. The company also owns then Marriott chain of hotels. Only recognized brand is the W Hotels. The W Scottsdale happens to be not too far away. Also, Aloft Tempe is just being completed along Tempe Town Lake.
The Aloft Scottsdale is centrally located in the heart of vibrant downtown Scottsdale, Arizona. It is near Old Town Scottsdale. This is the same area that is just with in a mile from Scottsdale Fashion Square mall, and Scottsdale Waterfront. It is also with in a short driving distance to some work-class golf courses. If you are looking for something near a major airport. It is nice to know that the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) is only 20 minutes away. One of the great things about this boutique hotel is that it is pet friendly. Not too hotels offer these types of accommodations.
Aloft Hotels brings live, intimate, acoustic performances and backstage moments by some of the hottest emerging artists. These performances you can catch at Aloft’s WXYZ Bar. This venue is a great location for meetups, networking events or to just have fun. Our Blare Films’ social media teams constantly monitors the venue for those types of business social gatherings.
Aloft Hotels is a hotel chain based in North America, owned by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, although it is referred to as “a vision of W Hotels”. The first hotel opened at the Trudeau International Airport in Montreal in 2008. Aloft Hotels have since opened across North America and internationally. The brand is most notable for its modern architecture design style. Another characteristic of Aloft hotels is the naming of basic hotel amenities. For example, in each hotel, the swimming pool is referred to as “splash”.
History
Aloft Hotels was conceived in 2005 by Starwood Hotels. The hotel chain already had many brands, including Sheraton, Westin, and W Hotels, but was looking to expand into a market of more contemporary hotels, which would eventually become known as boutique hotels. To reflect its relationship with Starwood Hotels, the Aloft brand was dubbed as “A Vision of W Hotels”.
