Rock Music Video
When you think of Santa Cruz and Silicon Valley you don’t think that an area in between would make a great venue for a Rock Music Video. There is a great little bar in Boulder Creek that made a great place for this music video. The Band was called Rippin and the song they performed if called “I’m a little Jealous.” It is a Rock song with a little country twist. Working on music videos is always fun. This time it was no different. Band leader Jeff Rippin contacted our producer Ro Leon.The band leader said he had a cool venue and needed to cast an actress to play the flirty cocktail girl. Brittany was casted to be the girl the two band members fight over. We captured the song performance and the friction that was started when the cocktail girl winked and the band member that she wasn’t dating. The tension buildings to the point where a gun is pulled out. You need to see what happen next. Ro help direct while Justin and Ian McAleece captured everything with two Canon 5DM3’s. Brine Wells was our grip. We brought out our grip van and large light kit for this. This rock music video was the first video in the Santa Cruz county.
