Scottsdale International Film Festival is located in Scottsdale, Arizona, U S A. It is an annual five-day event. Award-winning cinema and people from around the globe are being connected in Arizona’s beautiful fall weather. Attendees have can enjoy the history Old Town in southern Scottsdale or experience the newer North Scottsdale.
The festival was launched in 2001, 28 September with just 11 films. It has been 16 years to the industry that it’s going firmly with about 500 plus films presented ranging from major Academy Award winners to undiscovered indie gems. It has hosted more than 90,000 attendees. These films are both a reflection of our everyday life and a means to escape it. Be it a film scholar or film love both will agree on it that is what the catalyst of the film is based on, “film is art is life is a film”. A film is less an imagination and more a reality which can take us away while at the same time embed us in the truth of other people’s stories that might be beautiful, sad, cruel, angry or unimaginable. The attendees eagerly anticipate each season’s program of varying tales, contexts, and characters both rare and relatable.
The main themes of the films include:
